Drop test for the casks
Manufacture scale models, carry out drop test from 9m height and evaluate the safety of the cask.
Structural Analysis
Sufficient safety (strength) is ensured even under strict conditions assumed during transport and storage.
Shielding Analysis
Lower dose rate around the cask will be maintained in order to reduce exposure dose to the workers.
Thermal Analysis
Confirm the temperature of each part of the cask and confirm that all materials are usable in required range of temperature.
Criticality Analysis
It is designed so that sub-critical condition is maintained at any time.
